CASE STUDY

Wisdom Wednesday

ORIGINATING AN IDEA THAT BECAME AN INSTITUTION

THE CHALLENGE

RTS is a multi-campus institution with faculty spread across the country, but there was no recurring visual series that consistently brought those voices together. The opportunity was to create something simple enough to produce repeatedly, strong enough to represent the institution well, and flexible enough to work across different professors, campuses, and subjects

THE APPROACH

I developed a simple, repeatable format built around short faculty conversations that could be produced across multiple campuses without losing consistency. I shaped the editorial approach, visual format, production workflow, and faculty representation, creating a system that could continue producing new episodes while still evolving creatively over time.

THE OUTCOME

Wisdom Wednesday grew into RTS’s longest-running recurring content series, with more than 300 episodes produced across the institution. What began as a solution to a multicampus creative challenge became an enduring platform for faculty visibility and institutional connection, supported by a production model that could continue beyond any single shoot, campus, or person.

Two men are having a serious conversation in a wood-paneled room. One man is wearing glasses and a light blue blazer, while the other has curly hair and is dressed in dark clothing. A soft light illuminates their faces, and bookshelves are visible in the background. The photo appears to be taken through a camera lens, with colorful bokeh effects at the bottom.
